about

I am a writer, teacher, and death doula living in Los Angeles, California. I have partnered with hundreds of writers over the past decade, offering both workshops and personalized containers for a compassionate and rigorous exploration of the possibilities of a writing practice. I believe writing in connection with others helps us get more courageous about the mysterious places, the places that fuel powerful writing. I mostly write weird non-fiction about in-between spaces, like birth, death, and empty houses.

I host Bernadette, a monthly writer’s group on Zoom inspired by the experiments of poet Bernadette Mayer.

I received a BA from Wesleyan University in 2015; a MA in Literature from Bread Loaf School of English in 2022; and am an MFA candidate at Bennington College.
